June 8 Alpha Loop - Downtown Alpharetta to Avalon and Back

The Alpha Loop will eventually be an eight mile walking and biking trail. While completion is years away, the first mile is complete. This segment connects downtown Alpharetta to Avalon.

Part of this walk is really quite pretty. Part of it doesn't have much shade. We wanted to get a walk there before it gets too hot this summer.

It will be about 3 miles round-trip. Restrooms are available at Avalon.

Meet in front of the Alpharetta Library (10 Park Plaza). There is a public parking garage across from Park Plaza with free parking. Meet at 10, start walking by 10:05.
