Book launch! THE DISENCHANTMENT OF NARCISSA TARVER

Donna Dechen Birdwell launches her latest novel on October 9, 5 to 7 pm, at Reverie Books, 5330 Menchaca Road, Austin, 78745.

THE DISENCHANTMENT OF NARCISSA TARVER is Birdwell’s first work of historical fiction and is set in post-Reconstruction southern Mississippi. Kirkus Reviews calls it “an engaging and thought-provoking work.” Birdwell will be in conversation with fellow Austin writer Nick Edinger. The event is free and open to the public. The book was workshopped through Writers on the Storm.
