This month's highlighted influencer is Margarita Foss, Online emotional coach. She is a certified Advocate against sexual violence, an expert in control of emotions and self-esteem. She strives to change negative thought patterns for the women she serves.

Margarita is an expert in teaching control of emotions and self-esteem. Originally from Colombia, now lives in Austin, Texas. She is happily married and the mother of two incredible young adults, who have always been the true motivation of her life.

Today, Margarita works with Hispanic women who are looking to learn to focus on themselves, on their own happiness, and on how to resolve their internal conflicts. She teaches women to break emotional chains, heal their hearts and find their true purpose, and with that, become happy and fulfilled.

Margarita has transformed the lives of hundreds of Latinas through her emotional intelligence methodology. She is the founder and designer of “The Empowered Latina Academy”, a 10-week online program that contains a step-by-step master plan with guaranteed results of emotional freedom and happiness.

This month's highlighted influencer is Gillian Hodler, TreeFolks Community Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator.

Gillian grew up in New York City, and always loved climbing trees. She moved to Austin in 1999, on a bicycle, and immediately felt at home in the beautiful parks and abundant green spaces. She studies plants through many different lenses, including organic gardening, permaculture, herbalism, and edible wild foods. As a community volunteer Gillian has worked with many local organizations, including the Central Texas Seed Savers, and the 5604 Manor Community Garden in East Austin, where she has been a volunteer organizer for the past 8 years. Gillian joined TreeFolks in October 2018, and has previously served as the NeighborWoods Program Assistant, and the Tree Watering Coordinator for Austin Environmental Heroes. She loves to talk to anyone who will listen about why we should all be Tree Folks.

This month's highlighted influencer is Adriana Nunez-McDermott , Manager of Economic Development for the Round Rock Chamber, where she supports business attraction and entrepreneurship efforts.

Before joining the chamber, she served as the Regional Economic Development Coordinator at the Greater Houston Partnership where she assisted with projects related to digital technology, health and life sciences, and corporate headquarters recruitment.

Prior to her role at the Greater Houston Partnership, Adriana was the Retail & Marketing Coordinator for the Buda Economic Development Corporation. She also spent time as a Personal Banker for Frost Bank in Austin.

Adriana graduated from Texas State University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.
