Men’s Morning Walk at Lakeline Park: Fresh Air, Good Company, Coffee & Doughnuts
Details
Get out of the house, have some fun, and make some friends.
When was the last time you did something different on a Saturday morning?
This Saturday, take a different path, literally.
Join the North Austin Men’s Group for an easygoing morning walk at Lakeline Park. We’re meeting at 7:00 AM at the large pavilion just off the main parking lot, then walking the paved 2.5-mile loop together.
The forecast is about 55 degrees and dry, which is ideal walking weather.
No agenda. No pressure. Just men walking, talking, laughing, and breathing some fresh air. Walk at your own pace, chat with whoever’s beside you, and let the conversation go where it goes.
There’s something about moving side by side with other men that loosens things up, and it brings you back to feeling like yourself.
After the walk, we’ll gather back at the pavilion for coffee and doughnuts and spend some time talking before we wrap up.
What to know:
- Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes
- Bring water if you’d like; there are drinking fountains at the park
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome, as long as they don’t distract from the conversations
- Come as you are. No experience, fitness level, or prep needed
If you’re in a tough season, whether that’s an unhappy marriage, separation, or divorce, this is a good place to land. You don’t have to talk about any of it. Just show up, and you’ll find a group of men who get it.
If you're looking for men friends, this is the perfect opportunity to meet guys who like to do things, spend time together, and make a positive change in their life.
This is the first of many morning walks. Come see what a little fresh air and good company can do for your week.
Much love, brother,
