Come one, come all to the kickoff of Switcheroo! A new queer contradance series host by NBCDS at Wischemann Hall in Sebastopol.
This is a new gender-free, queer-normative contradance, focusing on welcoming new dancers, emphasizing consent and mutual care, and building an inclusive, joyful, and exuberant dance community here in the North Bay. This is not an exclusively queer event–Allies and friends welcomed and encouraged! This is a family-friendly dance, so bring your kids!
7:00-7:30 Introductory lesson for new dancers (experienced dance angels encouraged!)
7:30-8:30 Dancing Round 1
8:30-9:00 Snacking and schmoozing (Potluck snacks–bring a tasty treat to share if you like!)
9:00-10:00 Dancing Round 2
$5-20 Sliding Scale, NOTAFLOF (No One Turned Away For Lack Of Funds)
