10 gradual miles to 360 degree views, summit mount Saint Helena
Details
This hike is long, but the trail is good and very gradual, I recommend this route as a first 10 mile hike if you think you are up to some distance and are used to hiking.
Mount Saint Helena is the highest point in all of Sonoma county, promising fantastic 360 degree views.
We will stop at the summit to enjoy the view and have lunch for about 45 minutes then head back down the trail. Please bring your own lunch and only if you would like some snacks to share.
We will meet at the exact point of the map pin in the parking lot for Robert Louis Stevenson State Park. You can Google "Mt. St. Helena Trailhead" and it takes you to the right place.
Please bring 2 liter of water, snack and comfortable shoes and a jacket, it can get cold at the top. A rain jacket is wise this time of year.
We will hike if there is light rain or snow. A large storm will cancel the event.
By attending this event you agree and understand that hiking is an inherently dangerous activity that you are choosing to attend and waive the organizer(s) of all liability from injury or disease including Covid-19, tick bites, injuries from falls etc.
