Lunch on Tomales Bay

Hi everyone!

I would like to welcome you all to a fun outing on Tomales Bay!

We would be meeting at Chicken Ranch beach.

It is a smaller beach that is mostly sheltered from the winds and has a great panoramic view of the bay and is a great spot to relax and dip your feet in the water or paddle round on a paddle board if you're up for it.

Please feel free to bring snacks and drinks to share, just please be respectful and clean-up afterwards. There are trash and recycle bins by the entrance, and outhouse.

the Weather is projected to be between high 60*s at the lowest and up to the low 80*s . I would recommend carpooling if you know someone else going. Parking is small (12 - 15 cars comfortably) mostly road side parking that is safe and out of the way of the main road.

Things to bring:
Sunscreen, bottle of water, snacks or food you can eat, and light layers just in case, and something to sit on, sunglasses, >>> Beach-day in the sun things. ( if anyone has a portable table that be great too!)

If your up for it anyone that has a S.U.P. or kayak feel free to test the waters! Or even take a dip in the water!

Note the beach is dog friendly on leash. During the afternoon if were the only people on the beach, its up to dog-parents if you want to let them run a bit (just please be respectful of other dog-parents).
