Welcome! We aim to bring together locals from the North Jersey region and beyond. Originally founded in Bergen County, we're excited to grow and connect with kind, like-minded individuals at our events. Before you join us, please take a moment to review the rules outlined below.
This group is not intended solely for dating or matchmaking purposes. While we welcome the possibility of organic, consensual relationships forming naturally among members, our primary focus is not on hosting events specifically for singles or dating.
1. NO-SHOWS AND LAST-MINUTE CANCELLATIONS:
- We uphold a zero-tolerance policy for initial no-shows and repeated last-minute cancellations. Such behavior will lead to immediate removal from the group. If your plans change, we kindly ask that you communicate with us in advance as a courtesy.
2. REVIEW YOUR RSVP STATUS:
- Attendance at events is limited to those with confirmed YES RSVPs. Please refrain from attending if you are on the Waitlist, as attendee limits are in place for specific reasons. If an event is full but you’d like to attend, or if you wish to bring additional guest(s), kindly contact the event organizer. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
3. TICKETED MEETUP EVENTS AND WAITLISTS:
- For events requiring a ticket for admission, RSVPs will automatically be placed on the waitlist. To move to the confirmed going list, you must verify your ticket purchase with the organizer(s). This policy helps ensure an accurate headcount, particularly for reservations.
3. SAFE SPACE AND HATE-FREE/INCLUSIVE ZONE:
- If a member is not respecting your boundaries or those of others and causing discomfort, please inform an organizer or event host. We are committed to addressing and reviewing such situations promptly and thoroughly. This group has zero tolerance for toxicity or harassment. Any member engaging in such behavior will face immediate removal.
By confirming your attendance at an event, you acknowledge and accept any associated risks, taking full responsibility for yourself and your guest(s). You waive any claims for personal injury, death, or damage to personal property that may occur.
