This special event will be a casual stroll through the Brisbane Botanical Gardens that will also serve as the book launch for the organizers new comedic self-help book titled "THE STRANGER: 10 Rules For Surviving A Neurotypical World." As we walk through the gardens, we will discuss these rules and what it's like for a neurodivergent person to navigate a neurotypical world. However, you don't need to read the book or be neurodivergent to attend. Perhaps this event will convince you to buy it if you end up enjoying the conversation. If you would like to check out the book, you can get it by clicking the link below. It will be available to buy on the 18th (or 19th) of May.

WHAT WE WILL DO.

We will meet outside The Victory Hotel at 11:00am, shown in the picture below. Look for the guy wearing a black cap and white shirt. At 11:15am after we've waited for any late arrivals, we will start walking towards the Brisbane Botanical Gardens for a casual walk and talk. I recommend leaving extra early to account for any delays in traffic so that you don't arrive too late.

Once we've had enough of walking around, we can sit somewhere and continue the chat. Or if your neurodivergent brain is socially worn out, we can play some light card games to finish out the event instead. Afterwards, we can go grab lunch somewhere in the city (if you like).

It's important to know that if you are unable to attend on the day, then change your RSVP to not going. The group has a 3-strike rule where if you no show an event 3 times you will be removed from the group.
