Dockside Dogs (Call of Cthulhu Open RPG One Shot)

Join us for a one-shot RPG session in North Buffalo. Potluck snacks/drinks.

We'll be playing the Call of Cthulhu scenario "Dockside Dogs." No materials or prior knowledge of the rule set is necessary, but feel free to bring your own dice if you have them. Pregenerated characters will be provided.

1990s Los Angeles. A group of well-dressed criminals arrive at a warehouse after pulling off an extraordinary crime. They know each other only by their pseudonyms - Black, Red, Green, Purple, Beige, and Silver. The plan is simply to sit tight until midnight when someone will arrive to ferry them - and the loot - across the bay to make a final delivery to the boss. Sounds easy, right?

Expect heavy player interaction, RP, and some conflict. This is an investigative horror scenario in which you play a regular person, not a super hero.

These games are sometimes in high demand, so please update your RSPV as soon as you can if you signed up and realize you can no longer make it. This scenario requires at least 2 players and can handle up to 6 (7 if you include me). Best with 4-6 total people.

*There's a 7-year-old in the household - she doesn't spend much time around the boardgaming, but please make extra sure to look around for stray game pieces when you're packing up a game.

*The house is a long walk from Amherst St Station (1.5 miles, 30 minute walk) and a short walk from Bus lines that go along Delaware Ave.

*There is plenty of free street parking on Amherst St, Meadow Rd, and other nearby side streets. Please don't park in the driveway - it's narrow so you'd be blocking in the wife. She'll ask you to move.

*This is a gun-free, pet-free, drug-free, smoke-free meetup. (That means don't bring those things, not that they are free. They are very expensive.)
