Saturnine Chalice (Open Call of Cthulhu RPG One Shot

Join us for a one-shot RPG session in North Buffalo. Potluck snacks/drinks.

We'll be playing the Call of Cthulhu scenario "Saturnine Chalice" from Dead Light and Other Dark Turns. No materials or prior knowledge of the rule set is necessary, but feel free to bring your own dice if you have them. Pregenerated characters will be provided.

The year is 1925 and you are on the way to a will reading in which you hope to inherit big. The circumstances surrounding your dear departed's death grow increasingly concerning. Will you try to learn the true secret, into these even if the truth means someone else may lay claim to the estate? Will you trust each other, even though you know you each have reason to need the money and will inherit more if fewer people are divvying up the estate?

Call of Cthulhu is an investigator horror game in which you play a regular person, not a super hero.

These games are sometimes in high demand, so please update your RSPV as soon as you can if you signed up and realize you can no longer make it. This scenario requires at least 2 players and can handle up to 5 (6 if you include me).

*There's a 7-year-old in the household - she doesn't spend much time around the boardgaming, but please make extra sure to look around for stray game pieces when you're packing up a game.

*The house is a long walk from Amherst St Station (1.5 miles, 30 minute walk) and a short walk from Bus lines that go along Delaware Ave.

*There is plenty of free street parking on Amherst St, Meadow Rd, and other nearby side streets. Please don't park in the driveway - it's narrow so you'd be blocking in the wife. She'll ask you to move.

*This is a gun-free, pet-free, drug-free, smoke-free meetup. (That means don't bring those things, not that they are free. They are very expensive.)
