PX Poker Night (Delta Green Open RPG One Shot)

Join us for a one-shot RPG session in North Buffalo. Potluck snacks/drinks.

We'll be playing the Delta Green scenario "PX Poker Night." No materials or prior knowledge of the rule set is necessary, but feel free to bring your own dice if you have them. Pregenerated characters will be provided.

A dozen Air Force misfits and malcontents have gone from misconduct charges or stretches in the stockade to a post even they can’t screw up: Platte AFB. A place where aircraft and careers go to die. The middle of nowhere, Nebraska.

Saturday is the one night a week that everyone can look forward to. It’s a chance to unwind. It started in the post exchange decades ago, back when Platte still belonged to the Army. The tradition stands today. Saturday is PX Poker Night.

It’s Saturday, 22 AUG 1998. An unmarked van rolls in and parks at the far end of the fields. Guards in bizarre metal helmets get out and keep watch. Nobody knows why they’re here. The base commander says they’re under orders. Everyone is to leave them alone. Poker night is about to take a turn for the bizarre...and the deadly.

Delta Green is an investigator horror game in which you play a regular person, not a super hero.

These games are sometimes in high demand, so please update your RSPV as soon as you can if you signed up and realize you can no longer make it. This scenario requires at least 2 players and can handle up to 6 (7 if you include me).

*There's a 7-year-old in the household - she doesn't spend much time around the boardgaming, but please make extra sure to look around for stray game pieces when you're packing up a game.

*The house is a long walk from Amherst St Station (1.5 miles, 30 minute walk) and a short walk from Bus lines that go along Delaware Ave.

*There is plenty of free street parking on Amherst St, Meadow Rd, and other nearby side streets. Please don't park in the driveway - it's narrow so you'd be blocking in the wife. She'll ask you to move.

*This is a gun-free, pet-free, drug-free, smoke-free meetup. (That means don't bring those things, not that they are free. They are very expensive.)
