Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park Fun Ride!

October will be my last month running this joint. Meetup was $10 a month for years; went up $30 a month and now it's $45 a month. I can buy a lot of valve stems at the end of the year! I will keep posting rides on Strava and it's free.

Weather is now perfect for bike trips! It was a hot summer and I did not ride much since April. Lost my climbing legs but good thing I only like to ride downhills.

Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park is located in Boone, NC. It is a legit bike park and very well designed. City of Boone invested a lot of $ for this bike park to attract more visitors. Optional dinner in Boone after and I'm staying in the area for the weekend.

Mountain bike, helmet, water, tools, elbow/knee pad. 1pm meet at the parking lot. As I remembered, the cell signal is spot at the parking lot. And last time I was there, they've built a pump track but was still under construction.
