Labor Day Weekend Trask River Campout

Details

Due to weather, we are pushing back this weekend campout to Labor Day weekend. I’m not sure the availability for cabins and rv full hook up sites, but there are tent sites available in the upper field and still grants you access to the river by the gazebo.
It is $35 a night per tent. There is no charge for pets, just keep them leashed and pick up after them. There is also no charge for vehicles. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway for the weekend, this will not be the place. Holiday weekends tend to be packed here by the locals. It is also a popular OHV staging area, my own kids that ride motorcycles stop in between 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. People could reserve at the County Park just a mile down the road, but they do charge for pets and extra vehicles per night, what costs $35 here can cost $70 there.

I have my RV there, and do not mind if people show up last minute and pitch a tent by it. You’ll just need to pay at the store.

Our idea for this campout is time at the river during the day, a potluck in the evenings, and card games at night.
We will also have corn hole set up. Everyone is responsible for their own meals, beverages, and snacks but the dinner potlucks we think will be a lot of fun.

We are making this single parent friendly, but just be aware, it can be a bit loud and rowdy in different parts of the campgrounds in the evenings. Where I’m camped it is usually pretty quiet and away from the loud crowds.
There is a store onsite, including a full coffee bar. There is also WiFi at this store.

If you need a tent, please message me or Sarah.
Also, if a person behaves in a way that makes any of us feel unsafe or uncomfortable, you will be asked to leave. Example: if you tend to have a not fun side effect when drinking tequila, maybe stick with the soda instead.
Again, this is a family friendly event and we’d like all to feel welcome and safe. We have plenty of other events and groups for that level of craziness.
