I looked for RV groups for my husband and I, and didn't see a lot of options so decided to start one. If you're interested, please join us and we'll figure it out together!
About us: My husband is Ed (Eddie) and I am Jennifer. He's 55 and I am 52. We've been married since 2019 and have been RV'ing since Feb 2020. Last year we leveled up from a Forest River travel trailer to a Tiffin Allegro motorhome and we LOVE it. We just returned from a 10-day trip to Monterey and Lake Tahoe, and had a great time; learned a ton in the process. We don't pretend to be experts but are curious and will openly admit to what we don't know - our best source has been Facebook RV groups to date. We're reasonably fun people looking for others who share our camping interest.
I foresee this group having bi-monthly (every other month) campground reservations at places within a 1-2 hour drive from North County San Diego, with the occasional planned but optional group activities and potluck meals/happy hours. We are opening the group up to all ages and marital statuses, for those who have generally accepted camping rigs: pop-ups, vans, travel trailers, 5th wheels and motorhomes. We'll let the tent campers find their own groups. :)
