Bayside Trail Cabrillo National Monument & Point Loma Tide Pools

Cabrillo monument opens at 9am and closes at 5pm
There is a fee to enter to see Cabrillo National Monument. According to the write up the fee changes depending on the vehicle that enters the park. The hike is 2.3 miles long with a 341 Elevation and is said to e an easy trail.
We will not visit the tide pools due to inconvient low tides. We will hike Bayside trail, Oceanside trail and Coastal trails.
The Cabrillo Monument commemorates the landing of Jan Rodriguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay on September 28, 1542. According to history this was the first European expedition on what later became the West Coast of the U.S.
