Chris Thrasher - WTF is UTF in C++?

Details
Unicode is the international standard for representing written human language and encoding it in a machine-readable format. Understanding Unicode is useful for any C++ programmer who deals with strings. C++11 and C++20 both added features to the C++ core language and standard library to better facilitate working with Unicode strings, but these features can be difficult to understand and come with some unintuitive caveats. This talk details the variety of string types in C++ and many of the tips and tricks required to get the most value out of them.
