Loughshinny to Rush Photowalk

Let's turn our photographic eye to the sea with a relaxing coastal walk. We'll meet at the car park beside Loughshinny Beach, at 12 noon, and take a little bit of time to take in the beach and harbor.

We'll then begin walking in the direction of rush, which will take us up across grassy cliffs and past a pasture where there may be horses and donkeys. Shortly beyond this we'll come across the martello tower, overlooking the sea in solitude from a large meadow.

The tower marks the approximate half-way point, and from there we'll continue along the trail to Rush beach. If we arrive in good time we can walk along the beach towards the town in search of coffee shops.

The aim of this walk is to go there and back again, so we'll follow the same trail returning to Loughshinny.
