Island Adventure #2 - Ebey's Landing, Whidbey Island

Details
I am in a tropical mood and I am ready for an Island Adventure. Unfortunately, I do not have the time nor the funds to fly off to Hawaii but I do have a few bucks to spare for some gas and ferry fare to a nearby, yet remote island. So pack a lunch and supplies for a day of exploring. Dogs allowed on leash.

# Ebey’s Landing
Located on Whidbey Islands west coast, Ebey’s Landing is a beautiful day-use park with . In partnership with the town of Coupeville, Island County, the National Park Service, and Washington State Parks, this area provides an enjoyable place to relax on the beach or hike the loop trail that follows the high bluff north before descending to the beach.
I estimate to be walking about 4-6 miles with 325 Ft Elev Gain or so and spend 3 - 4 hours before heading back. There is no rush - we will be on island time.
We can meet at Olympic Middle school at 8:45 am and carpool or caravan up, aiming for the 9:30 am ferry (will update when fall ferry schedule comes out). Let us know if you want to carpool, can provide the carpool or will meet at ferry.
