Island Adventure #4 - Mercer Island - Luther Burbank Park

We had so much fun on our previous Island Adventures we must try another one. No ferry needed, just bridges and tunnels and traffic. if anybody knows of any unusual events happening enroute, please advise and i can reschedule.

Luther Burbank Park is a waterfront park at the North end of Mercer Island, offering three miles of family- and pet-friendly trails with waterfront access, wetlands, and recreational activities.

I have mapped out a route 4.5 miles

Dogs allowed on leash. (there is a fenced off leash area in the park you can use before or after our walk)

Walking in Winter. Normal winter weather will not cancel an event, but extreme cold, snow, high winds or torrential rain, will cause me to cancel completely or change what we do for safety's sake. Please check in the morning of the event to see what is happening. Arm yourself for seasonal weather swings. Please keep your RSVP up to date - even if you are on the waiting list.

Please remember to be kind and respectful to all members of this group as well as other people and dogs you meet along the way. Do not allow your dog go up to other dogs or people without permission from those people and dog owners. Be mindful of your dog’s whereabouts and manage accordingly for the safety and comfort of all.
