Island Adventure #5 Camano Island - State Parks

Let’s keep these Island Adventures going. No ferry needed, just bridges for this one. An oldie but a goodie. Opportunity to stop for coffee and pastry beforehand at Camano commons, and/or have lunch afterwards at Cama Beach Cafe.

This is a perfect blend of forest and coast. We can do a loop of the forest trails and then head down to the beach for a walk along. If weather is good we can walk along the cross island trail to Cama Beach State Park for a total of about six miles .

Plan on 4-6 miles of walking, forest trails and beach.

Walking in Winter. Normal winter weather will not cancel an event, but extreme cold, snow, high winds or torrential rain, will cause me to cancel completely or change what we do for safety's sake. Please check in the morning of the event to see what is happening. Arm yourself for seasonal weather swings. Please keep your RSVP up to date - even if you are on the waiting list.

Please remember to be kind and respectful to all members of this group as well as other people and dogs you meet along the way. Do not allow your dog go up to other dogs or people without permission from those people and dog owners. Be mindful of your dog’s whereabouts and manage accordingly for the safety and comfort of all.
