Get ready for hiking season. Progressively harder hikes to get in shape.

For those wanting a more back country, alpine experience. Please come prepared to sweat. We will be starting early as most of these trails are quite popular.
Come prepared with water and snacks (lunch for the longer ones) for you and your dog, proper hiking footwear, winter season - traction for your shoes (YakTrax) hiking pole(s) advised, summer season - sunscreen, and bug spray.
Attendance will be limited, so please honor your RSVP or update it as early as you can so somebody else can attend. )

MILEAGE: 4 miles RT (out and back)
Elevation Gain: about 1049 ft
Passes/Permit required: Discover Pass
Dogs allowed on leash/scoop the poop

Stan's Overlook is the first stop on the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail. A gentle hike with a nicely maintained trail. Start at Snoqualmie Point Park to access the trail. The trail is mostly wooded until you reach the overlook. At this point, there is a bench to sit at and enjoy the view of the horizon line.

## Getting There

To Snoqualmie Point Park: take I-90 east to Exit 27. At the end of the off-ramp, go right and follow the road to the end. Go through the gate on the right to enter the trailhead. Straight ahead is a separate parking area for Snoqualmie Point.
