Give us a brief introduction of yourself and your dog(s) if you own one or more.

I have a small (for the breed), 80# 11yr old neutered male Bouvier des Flandres (Bubba), who has been alpha all his life, but has mellowed through the years and is very well socialized (spent all his life in downtown Chicago, last 4 years on Michigan Ave). I also have an almost 2yr old, 75# female Bouvier (Rainne Day), who is currently in heat (7/22/13), pretty rambunctious, wants to meet & greet EVERYONE, and isn't happy if she doesn't get to - again well socialized as she spent most of her life on the busiest street in Chicago, daily interacting with 10s of dogs and 100s to 1000s of people of all ages, ethnicities, and ilks. They both love children and miss getting to see kids as much as they used to. I would consider myself a strong dog owner, who doesn't put up with any crap out of either of them - but being bouvs, they do still test the waters regularly - I reprimand strongly as that is what this breed understands. Bubba are in decent shape for our age and weights.

What do you want to get out of this group? What type of activities do you enjoy?

I would prefer off leash activities as well as walking and hiking with my dogs. I want to get them out more often, get their and my muscle tone increased - and really enjoy being social with other dog owners and people during these activities. Just more fun getting to know and doing things with others.

Have you read the Terms of Membership Agreement and agree to abide by them?

I didn't see the Terms of Membership Agreement, but I am sure I would have no problem with agreeing to them.

New to Seattle, have 2 Bouviers, want more activity.
