About Tai Chi
Tai Chi, is an ancient Chinese mind-body practice that combines gentle, flowing movements with deep breathing and meditation. It originated as a martial art but has evolved into a popular form of exercise and relaxation. We will be focusing on the health and relaxation purposes behind Tai Chi.

Here are some key aspects of Tai Chi:

  • Movement: Practitioners perform a series of slow, deliberate movements that flow smoothly from one to the next. These movements are designed to improve balance, flexibility, and strength.
  • Breathing: Deep, controlled breathing is a fundamental part of Tai Chi, helping to enhance relaxation and focus.
  • Meditation: Often referred to as “meditation in motion,” Tai Chi encourages a calm, meditative state of mind, promoting mental clarity and stress reduction

Inclement Weather: The Amphitheater Stage provides some cover, however, we will cancel if facing heavy rains, lightning, thunderstorms, and severe winds.
