About us
A group for bowling, volleyball, tennis and other casual activities since May 2024:
We try to organize 3-5 events per month. Most of what we do is considered active recreation. Other activities will come with their own set of details.
Many who choose to participate are playing for the first time ever or in years. Most members of this group do not participate in a league or partake in the various activities multiple times a week. However, it's perfectly fine if you do.
We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities!! We're not here to analyze your form or skills. We're here for friendly competition and socializing. Over time, we've begun to see a lot of familiar faces, and hope you've noticed them too.
One of the group's goals is to have few rules and no real structure. Most of the time, you don't have to do anything ahead of the event. You just show up whenever and have a good time.
Of course, you pay for your own bowling games and table tennis hours. Volleyball and traditional tennis are outside and free. Food and drinks can be purchased at the alleys and table tennis facility, but for the other ones, you'd BYO if you had an interest.
Somedays, we may have to wait until lanes or courts free up. It's certainly possible, we may have to relocate or cancel if they're busy upon arrival. Please keep that in mind if you're traveling from far away.
Questions, comments or ideas? You can message Andy Milone on Meetup, or call/text him at 201-234-9609. If interested in staying touch with group members or conversing about future events, feel free to inquire about our WhatsApp group chat.

Friday Night Baseball Watch Party - North Jersey
Come join the group to celebrate the third weekend of baseball at The Shepherd & The Knucklehead of Hoboken, 1313 Willow Ave.
New York Mets and Yankees games start at 7:10 p.m.
Of course, join us at any time. All you gotta do is show up and have a good time hanging with familiar faces and meeting new ones. It's totally optional to wear your favorite baseball gear or consume a few adult beverages.
Please be smart about travel. The train station is not far away and runs late. Parking can be a challenge, but there is street parking (where residential permit is not required) and several paid public parking garages, including at 112 River St. and 1330 Willow Ave. Feel free to comment below if interested in carpooling or have questions about travel options.
Questions? Suggestions? Concerns? You can reach out to Andy Milone at 201-234-9609 (call/text), or by message over Meetup or Whatsapp.

Ping Pong Party - North Jersey
Ready to Golf, 3 New Bridge Road, River Edge, NJ, USWe're a group of people who will casually hit the ball around and rotate playing to 10 or 15 points for two to three hours. If there's an interest, we may do king of the hill, round robin or set up a small tournament.
All are welcome!! It's just casual fun! Come anytime! We're not in a league and are not here to analyze your form.
We'll be heading indoors to the table tennis tables at Ready to Golf, 3 New Bridge Road in River Edge. We'll likely have pizza delivered or hang out some more at Coach House Diner, 55 Rte 4 in Hackensack.
Ready to Golf has a lot to offer, including rentable table tennis tables, and comes as a recommendation of Joe, one of our many regulars.
We'll be reserving four or five tables for singles and doubles play but will get more if they're available and more than 20 people show up.
The rental price covers paddles and balls. Final pricing will be somewhere in the neighborhood of $10-15 per person. Please bring cash to pay for what you owe! We'll settle the bill before play.
For planning purposes, we also ask that if you're stopping by later than 8 p.m., that you please let me know by commenting below, or calling or texting me.
There is a snack bar on site, but it's only open until 7:30 p.m. There are some bottled drinks available and a water fountain, but you're welcome to bring food and beverages from the outside. It's BYOB friendly. There's also plenty of seating and space for hanging out on the side when not playing and some televisions with sports programming.
