What we’re about
A group for bowling, volleyball, soccer, tennis and other casual activities.
Many who choose to participate are playing for the first time ever or in years. Most members of this group do not participate in a league or partake in the various activities multiple times a week. However, it's perfectly fine if you do.
We welcome all!! We're not here to analyze your form or skills. We're here for friendly competition and socializing, and welcome both introverts and extroverts. Over time, we've begun to see a lot of familiar faces, and hope you've noticed them too.
One of the group's goals is to have few rules and no real structure. Most of the time, you just have to show up and have a good time. In other words, you don't have to do anything ahead of time.
You pay for your own bowling games. Soccer and volleyball are outside and free. Food and drinks can be purchased at the alleys, but for the other two, you'd BYO if you had an interest. Most of what we do is considered active recreation. Other events will come with their own set of details.
Somedays, we may have to wait until lanes, courts or fields free up. It's certainly possible, we may have to relocate or cancel if they're busy upon arrival. Please keep that in mind if you're traveling from far away.
Questions, comments or ideas? You can message Andy Milone on Meetup, or call/text him at 201-234-9609.
We're a group of people who will start by casually hitting the ball around and then likely organize a tournament or rotate playing to 10 or 15 points.
We'll be heading indoors to the tables in Ready to Golf, 3 New Bridge Road in River Edge. The facility has a lot to offer, including rentable table tennis tables, and comes as a recommendation of Joe, one of our many regulars.
The rental includes paddles and balls. It looks like it'd be $80 for two hours of play total on one table. That'd be split among attendees. For example, five attendees means $16 per person for the evening. Of course, depending on the interest, we could get more than one table. More details to come at a later date.
All are welcome!! It's just casual fun! Come anytime! We're not in a league and are not here to analyze your form. There is a pretty big menu of food and non-alcoholic beverages on site. But we may go somewhere before or afterwards to hang out since Main Street is nearby.

Hope you'll join us for our second ping pong event. Questions, comments or having trouble finding us? You can message Andy Milone on Meetup, or call/text him at 201-234-9609.
