Get Started with Web Apps (Python 3.6, Django 2.0, Docker 3.x, Postgres 10)

• What we'll do
MEET-GREET: ~15 minutes of round-robin introductions and "audience requests", where attendees can raise their hand and ask for something (e.g. help with understanding a concept, a project, etc.).

LIGHTNING TALKS: Three (3) lightning talks of 5 minutes each. Lightning talks can be an educational topic or concept, show-tell side project, Python career advice, or generally something of interest to the PYTHON community. If you're interested in giving a lightning talk, please contact me.

MAIN EVENT: We will learn about developing web applications and make one for your laptop. We will be getting a preliminary web app up and running on your laptop. The technologies we'll be using will be Python 3.6, Django 2.0, Docker version 3.x, and Postgres 10! I'm very excited about this.

• What to bring
Laptop and likely some installed software. Please install Docker on your machine prior to the meetup; instructions are here for Mac an Windows: https://docs.docker.com/engine/installation/#supported-platforms.
