Breathtaking sights, incredible sounds, and extraordinary entertainment value. Every summer, guests are dazzled as 100+ hot air balloons paint the Iowa sky with brilliant colors while some of the best pilots in the world compete for points, prizes, and championship titles. Morning competition flights + evening task flights with outstanding entertainment including live music nightly, Nite Glow™, after-dark fireworks and drone shows, fabulous food concessions, Kids' Land activities and so much more!

The National Balloon Classic is a nonprofit organization dedicated to community building. Purchasing a ticket allows guests to enjoy one evening session (9 nights to choose from!), free access to watch morning competition flights (no ticket needed, free-will donation appreciated), and FREE parking both mornings and evenings during the National Balloon Classic July 26-August 3, 2024.

NO TICKET SALES AT THE GATE

• Tickets may be printed at home or scanned on a mobile device at the gate.
• Tickets do not sell out and can be purchased any time through August 3, 2024.
• Purchase discount tickets now until July 26, 2024. July 26-August 3, ticket prices increase to $11 per ticket.
• Physical tickets are available for purchase ($14) at Hy-Vee Indianola, 910 North Jefferson, Indianola, Iowa.

This is an outdoor event; all activities at the Memorial Balloon Field are weather permitting. Admission does not guarantee a balloon launch, and tickets are not refundable.

• Children ages five and under are admitted free of charge.
• Gates open at 4:00 p.m. daily.
