Epping Forest Walk

We will meet outside Chingford Station and walk from there to the cafe on Bury Road at the golf club. There won’t be a halfway cafe on this walk so we can buy takeaway drinks and snacks here to consume halfway sitting on a large horizontal tree trunk!
We will set off on a circular route ending up at The Butlers Retreat cafe where we can buy hot drinks etc. Just beyond this is the visitors centre and Hunters Lodge, which we can have a look at before walking down the road back to the station.
This walk will be around 3 miles.
If it’s been raining it could be muddy.
We’ll be setting off promptly at 1:45.
