NOCSGVBGC - We are a local Southern California backgammon club founded in July 2025. We hold in-person and online casual and competitive tournament events; Weekly "Beat the Boss/Founder" challenges; Learn tips and strategies to improve your game. Open to ALL ages and ALL levels (even beginners. We will teach you how to play). Make new friends. Have fun.

Price -FREE to attend ($10 donation appreciated to cover cub costs)
FREE for Visitors (non players)***NOTE: FOOD is NOT included but a separate bill on your own
You don't have to order a full meal if you are not that hungry. They have some appetizers/soups/salads as well.Please do support the restaurant as they are letting us use their venue without a rental fee.
Bring a friend, even if they are a beginner, but let us know if you are planning to do so. We provide lessons before and during the event. We'd love to teach you how to play this amazing game so others can get in on the fun.
We will be playing casual / social backgammon with no clocks, no doubling cube and no pressure. Just have fun and meet new friends and eat some good food/appetizers.BRING YOUR OWN BOARD (if you have one. We have limited loaner boards)
If you need lessons to refresh your member or have never played before let us know IN ADVANCE so we can assist you.
Schedule:
1130am - 12pm - Setup / Check-in / Order Food
12pm - 1230pm - Socialize / Lessons / Eat & Drink
12:30 - Social Game play until 4:15pm or so.
4:15 - Wrap Up / Clean Up
4:30 - Leave venue so they can get ready for evening dinner guestsRSVP for this event by email nocsgvbgc@gmail.com and state that you will be attending the 9/12 event and if you are bringing any guests and if you / they need any lessons or other help.
