All levels welcome. You can play for FREE casually/socially with us or play in the tournament and have a chance to win.
ANYONE can win in this one since it will be a DMP
(Double Match Point) 1 point Single/ Regular Games (NO CUBE) Tournament
We are trying to get MORE people to come out to our event, even if you are a beginner who at least know the basics.
ANYONE can beat a master level player in a 1 point game.

Tournament Format - Swiss/Round Robin. ONE (1) point games and rotate after each game.
We will try and get between 6 to 8 rounds in to determine a clear winner and top 3 players..

We will NOT be using the Doubling Cube in this tournament since games are only 1 point matches.

You are welcome to come and watch and say HI to us as we eat/drink and talk if you are not in the tournament, but please be respectful while our tournament players are focusing on winning their competitive matches.

Details:
FREE for Social / Casual Play/Non Members
$10 entry fee (cash at the door or by Venmo/Zelle or credit card using Stripe invoice in email) if playing in the tournament. FREE for visitors.
NOTE: Food is NOT included. That is a separate bill for you to pay to the restaurant if you order anything.
Tournament info

• Prizes for top 2 finishers in the tournament and also Club Master Points awarded for every player for the club's yearly leader board challenge.
• 1 point games. 25 mins max per game.
• Format -Swiss / Round Robin. Rotate players after each game. Most wins/points wins the tournament

Schedule:
11:00am - 11:30am - Check-in / Verify Payment (tournament players) / Setup boards / Order Food / Start Social Play by ALL if desired
11:30am - 12pm - Continue Social Play and Eating
12pm - Tournament Brackets Finalized (depending on how many tournament players we have)
12:15pm : 1 point DMP games Tournament Starts / Social Play Continues / Eat & Drink continues. We will try and get between 6 to 8 rounds of the tournament depending on how fast each game lasts / round lasts. Rotate after each game. Winners play winners and losers play losers. We will keep a running score card./ leader board
Regular win counts for 1 point. Most points after the end of all rounds wins the tournament. Prizes for top TWO players (note top 3 is only for our normal 5 pt tournaments, as this is a smaller tournament and short 1 pt games)
Master Points for Club Leader board will be awarded as always
12:15pm - 4:15 pm - Tournament play and Casual / Social Play continues
4:15pm - 4:25 pm - Tear-down / clean up
4:30pm - We leave the venue. Venue changeover.
We MUST be out before/by 4:30 pm

Tournament Only - BRING YOUR OWN BOARDS. CLOCKS / TIMER APPS REQUIRED.
