What we’re about
Adult Nature Walk. Join us every Thursday from 10 am to 12 pm to explore the many unique historic and natural areas of Allegheny County's North Park. Local Naturalists guide these leisurely and informative walks on trails through forest and field as we identify and discuss local plants, animals, habitats and historic features. We always meet at the Allegheny County's North Park Ice Rink/Basketball Court parking lot on Kummer Road at 10:00 am, then caravan to the location within North Park. No registration necessary, just show up with a smile! Walks are typically 1 to 2 miles, with easy to moderate difficulty. Dress well for outdoor weather. We meet rain or shine.
Times: Every Thursday, starting at 10 am. ending at 12 pm.
