North Phoenix Volleyball

This is a sand volleyball meetup where we will primarily play 4's and rarely 3's. Matches are social & fun! Teams are randomly picked multiple times throughout the evening, to give the opportunity to play with as many different people as possible.

Group Guidelines: - 3 hits: Bump, set and spike on all possible plays. - Setter gets Second hit unless they call for help - No touching the net while in play. - No "dunking" "open hand" the ball. over the net only knuckles. - No lifts/carries only clean contact. - To prevent argument any credible challenge will be an automatic "do over".

No negative attitudes or harassment will be tolerated. - THIS AS WELL AS ALL OUR GROUPS ARE 18+ ONLY. - Please be sure to update your RSVP at least one hour prior to the beginning of the meetup to ensure that the waitlist players have enough time to come and play. - If you are on the waitlist by the time the event starts, I cannot guarantee you a spot to play. Group is Intermediate level and up. You may be asked to come out on an All-levels day if there are some areas you still need to work on.

Multiple no shows with no communication with the host prior to an hour before games will lead to the removal from the group.

AVP Rules In Effect -Handsets as well as open hand passing must be clean; this means the ball cannot come to a visible rest, and it must be released evenly with minimal and gentle rotation. -To prevent argument any credible challenge will be an automatic "do over". -No negative attitudes or harassment will be tolerated. - THIS AS WELL AS ALL OUR GROUPS IS 18+ ONLY. Location at Rose Mofford Sports Complex. Only great sportsmanship and attitudes are welcomed! Multiple no shows with no communication with the group will lead to your removal from the group. No last-minute cancelations that means your cancelation need to be 2 hours before the games start.

This is a sand volleyball meetup where we will primarily play 4's and rarely 3's. Tuesday night are for players who have volleyball experience and know how to bump, set, and spike. Matches are social & fun, but still have a competitive edge to them! This is an 18+ group.

Teams are randomly picked multiple times throughout the evening, to give the opportunity to play with as many different people as possible.

Group Guidelines:

• 3 hits: Bump, set and spike on all possible plays.
• Setter gets Second hit unless they call for help
• Setting over the net is permitted with square direction and minimal spin.
• Open hand receiving on the serve only by deflection
• No touching the net while in play.
• No "dunking" "open hand" the ball. over the net only knuckles.
• No lifts/carries only clean contact.
• To prevent argument any credible challenge will be an automatic "do over".
• Purposefully/continues one overs will not be tolerated. 3 hits when possible.
• No negative attitudes or harassment will be tolerated.
• Please be sure to update your RSVP at least one hour prior to the beginning of the meetup to ensure that the waitlist players have enough time to come and play.
• If you are on the waitlist by the time the event starts, I cannot guarantee you a spot to play.
