Having the correct attitude toward God and his word is critical to our eternal destination and relationship with God. We've finished the lessons on our attitudes and unity.
Now we are getting deeper into Bible Authority where we breakdown the language and define the different components of Bible Authority and how to use the Bible to see what God has authorized in His word.
The goal of the class:
To survey the bible teaching concerning the attitudes that Christians need to develop and maintain relating to the study of the bible.
To develop an atmosphere in which we can study and grow together in relation to subjects in which we might not be totally united.
Build our knowledge on how to use the scriptures to see what God has authorized in His word.
During each class: The leader will present a slideshow on the topic of the week. Participants will then be invited, though not required, to read relevant scripture passages aloud. The aim is to encourage everyone to read, learn, and engage in meaningful discussions about the Word of God.
