SCIENCE ADVENTURE TOURS GEOLOGY FIELD TRIP

Our friend Mark Finkbeiner is offering another one of his excellent field trips on the geology of Eastern WA. I took this field trip a few years ago and it was great. Mark offers an alternative interpretation of those geological facts on which everyone agrees. I became young earth curious after mainstream science's recent confirmation of the discovery of soft tissue in dinosaur fossils. So it's time for me to take Mark's field trip again.

If you would like to take Mark's field trip then please see his instructions below.

See you there!

Tour Guide Mark Finkbeiner

THE EARTH IS A MUSEUM TO THE FLOOD

About the field trip:

Washington is a great place for a geology field trip to learn about the past. If rocks could talk, what would they say about the past?
Come with us as we have another great field trip for everyone and homeschoolers. July 26, 2025

We will be learning about the scientific and geological evidences of a universal flood in Washington State as one of the world's most significant areas for studying geological catastrophism, as well as gold mining history, fossils, geodes, thundereggs, and how and where to find them.

When and where do we meet?

Highway 97 and Old Highway 97 between Cle Elum and Leavenworth, WA
July 26, 2025

We will caravan to about 10 stopping points along highway 10 and US 97, and historic Old 97 Blewett Pass Highway. We will stop at Liberty, the oldest ghost town/goldmining town in Washington.

We will be examining catastrophic mudslides, lava flows, fossils and rocks. We will stop in at the Creation Science Museum, God’s Exploration Station. The field trip will be done between 3 and 4 PM

ABOUT THE NORTH SEATTLE INTELLIGENT DESIGN FORUM

Intelligent design is on pace to become the most widely accepted explanation of life on Earth. How did this happen? If you are curious and would like to learn more then please consider attending one of our Meetups. Advanced knowledge of biology is not required. Membership in this Meetup group is not required to attend. Skeptics are most welcome.

Intelligent design is nothing new. Newton, Kepler, Pasteur and many other scientists believed they were illuminating intelligent design by means of the scientific method. Likewise, evolution is not new. Anaximander, Zhuang Zhou and Lucretius speculated about evolution millennia before Charles Darwin. The post-WWII revolution in microscopy undermined the foundations of evolution with the discovery of the cell’s unanticipated complexity. The implications of that complexity, along with other experimental and theoretical advances, are claimed to have all but ruled out the possibility of descent with modification by means of natural selection acting on random mutation. Come see if you agree.
