RAIN CANCELS THIS EVENT
Safety Note: Bike helmets are mandatory on our rides.

Lets enjoy this beautiful path that meanders back and forth across and alongside the Blackstone River in Rhode Island. We will meet at the Lincoln, RI location by the Lonsdale Drive sign (pictured below) Do a very short ride 1 mile to the south end of the trail in Cumberland, RI then back to Lincoln and on to Woonsocket. Two scenic dams as we near the Woonsocket end. We will stop for a lunch break at the Woonsocket end. BRING your lunch, as there's no place to buy anything there. This is a paved, flat trail (a couple of minor inclines). About 22 miles round trip. Plan on taking about 2 1/2 hour depending on stops along the way. After we can go to the Lincoln Creamery for ice cream just 0.7 mile down the road. https://www.lincolncreamery.com/

Bring water, snack/lunch for the ride.

For those who want a bathroom stop before the ride, if you pass the parking lot and turn right on Rt 122 there is a McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts about ¾ mile away. There are no bathrooms on the trail until we reach the other end. Please allow extra time if you are going to do this so you will be back and ready to hit the trail at 11:00

See below for more pictures of the trail.

Bike helmets are mandatory when riding with us!
IMPORTANT: Be sure your bike is in good working order! Tires should be in good shape and pumped up, gears should shift smoothly, and your brakes should be properly adjusted. If possible, pack a spare tube in case of a flat. A hand pump or CO2 inflator is also desireable, though not absolutely necessary, as many riders will already have them.
