Pokey Pedaler Bike Ride

NOTE: The pace for this ride will be slower than the typical North Shore Bicycling for Fun Meetup rides.

Join us for an approximate 12-mile bike ride on the paved Salem/Windham NH Rail Trail. We’ll access the rail trail from the parking lot on Willow Street in Salem (across from Dodge Grain) and ride to the Windham Depot and then return.

This will be an easy ride with an average speed of about 7-9 mph. Estimated biking time is 1.5-2 hours. We will bike as a group and will stop at least once for a break.

Optional ice cream towards the end of the ride at Glenn’s Kreme and Cone, which is right on the rail trail.

Required: Bike Helmet
Bike in good working order
Water
Ride is limited to 8 riders; No guests.

Parking/meeting point: Park for free in the parking lot on Willow Street in Salem. The parking lot doesn't have an actual street address, so use 7 Willow Street in your GPS. Willow Street is very short. The parking lot is across from the side of the Dodge Grain building.

Wheels on trail at 1:00 pm! Please arrive early enough to get yourself setup and be ready to ride on time. See you there!
