About us

Join us for events in the Chicago North Shore area - Evanston, Wilmette, Winnetka, Glenview, Northbrook and surrounding towns. (You don't have to live here to participate)

This is a busy, active group, focused on getting out and meeting new friends. What kind of events? Whatever we find that is fun! Concerts, plays, happy hours, dining out.

I do not have to be at every event - if you think of something and would like to make it an event (and you are available to host) just let me know! I will post it! Ideas for new events are always welcome.

And help me find a new cover picture for the group! This was all I could think of that exemplified the North Shore but there has got to be something better!

Join us for a fun, low-stress trivia night at Pinstripes in Northbrook! The game starts at 6:00 pm - don't be late! I have a table reserved for 8 people but I can get more tables if needed. (I am going to say No Guests for this event since the number is limited. If you have someone who wants to come, have them join the group!)

Chicago Botanic Garden Orchid Show 21+ Night! Saturday February 21

Join us for the Garden's annual Orchid Show! "Mingle with the blooms and enjoy a vibrant night out at Orchids After Hours, featuring cocktails and light bites for purchase."

We are going on Saturday February 21 - purchase your tickets here. (Scroll down to "Orchids After Hours 21+ Silent Disco"). Tickets are $21 and Silent Disco headphones are an additional $10, and non-member parking is $10.

What is Silent Disco? They are special headphones that are programmed with 3 or 4 different music mixes and they light up a different color to show which one you are listening to. (I did it on a cruise one time and it is super fun - I am definitely going to do it at the Garden).

The event goes from 5-8 pm - we will meet at the Garden entrance at 5:15 pm.

I would love to go out for dinner/drinks as a group after the event - let me know if you have an idea for a location in the Northbrook area.
