Please read the entire group description, including the ground rules.

There is a fee of $2 do when you join our group. This helps offset the cost of our dues in miscellaneous expenses. Please pay this in 72 hours to avoid removal. Go to our page and Meetup click on an event. You will see a purple heart that says donate to this group.

There is also a $1-$2 event fee when attending an event. This will be paid at the event.

Also, if you see an event that interests you, please read the entire event description. If an event requires a ticket or a registration outside of MeetUp, (for example a forest preserve district event, or a ticketed performance) there'll be a link to the external site in the event description. Your organizer assumes no responsibility if an event sells out or fills up before you buy your ticket or register on the sponsoring organization's site.

And please be aware that this group has a "three strikes and you're out" no-show policy. If you accumulate 2 no-shows, I'll send you a reminder about that policy. You have signed up for an event and can’t make it please edit your RSVP 48 hours in advance. There is $10 no show fee, which will go to the restaurant. Also, a recognizable photo must be posted when joining the group. If there is no photo, you will receive a message. If you don’t post a photo you will be removed from the group. You may be asked for proof of age.

Be sure to set your notifications so you don't miss event announcements and emails, and pay attention to comments in events and direct messages to you from me, which may contain important updates (like location changes, cancellations, or more detailed event information)
