Songs From The Rat Pack

Details

Join us on February 4, 2024 as Nikki and Randy lead us through songs made famous by The Rat Pack. We’ll learn to play favorites such as: “All of Me,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “The Glory of Love,” and “The Way You Look Tonight.” Many of these tunes have some great jazz chords – a good way to expand your jazz repertoire.
The Rat Pack included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Joey Bishop, and Peter Lawford. “Their Old Hollywood charm, scandalous behavior, and partying lifestyle made them the ‘bad boys’ of the late ‘50’s and ‘60’s.”
The Rat Pack brought us many songs about love and romance. This is perfect for the Valentine’s Day month of February. We'll be discussing what makes these songs swing, and what makes the chords jazzy.
