# Rockport State Park
At the foot of Sauk Mountain, featuring 250-foot tall rare old-growth trees and a Skagit River overlook, Rockport State Park is one of the few places to view a rare ecosystem.
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring your 10 Essentials. If you are unfamiliar, please check out the following link from the American Hiking Society: 10 Essentials - Printable List
Please plan to arrive shortly (5-10mins) before 10am and we will start walking about 10:15am. There are restrooms and drinking water onsite. If anyone wants to picnic after the walk, there are picnic tables and might be a covered pavilion.
