Is Virtue Enough? (January 10)
Details
Join us for this inspired conversation about one of the most important themes in Stoicism: Virtue. What is it, and why is it central to Stoic thought? How did Aristotle’s ideas on virtue differ from a Stoic approach? No outside reading is required but we’re taking inspiration from the recent book, Stoic Ethics: The Basics, by Christopher Gill and Brittany Polat (Ch.1) It’s available on Amazon (I suggest the paper version, due to issues with the kindle version). All are welcome, and beginners are encouraged to join us. We will be on Zoom, and the link will be posted closer to the meeting time.
Tim is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
