Gratitude, the quality of being thankful, is an aspect of many philosophical and cultural traditions. In this session we will discuss what the ancient Stoics thought about gratitude and explore such questions as:

  • When should we be grateful?
  • What should we be grateful for?
  • How can gratitude help us live a good life?

All are welcome and no outside reading or experience is required. However, the following links provide some context - feel free to read ahead of the meeting. We'll be online, and the link will be posted just prior to the meeting time.
