"I Want to Sit With the Powerful People!" Lessons from Epictetus
Details
This week we continue with a selection from Epictetus's Discourses, 1.25. The Discourses originally contained 8 books, but only 4 have survived, and they were compiled from the notes of his student, Arrian. Versions of the Discourses can be found free online (link below), but outside reading is not required for attendance. Newcomers to Stoicism are welcome, and we will meet on Zoom- the link is posted prior to the meeting time.
Free versions of The Discourses can be found on Wikisource, or go to this link:

If you'd like a hard copy of the Discourses, two good versions/ translations can be found on Amazon: Robert Dobbin translation (my favorite), and Robin Hard, also very good.
Tim is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
