In this meeting, we’ll explore the theme of aging through the lens of Seneca’s Letter 12, a reflection on growing older, the passage of time, and the art of living wisely. Rather than treating aging as merely decline or loss, Seneca challenges us to see it as a call to greater clarity, gratitude, simplicity, and readiness for life’s natural limits. This conversation isn’t just for seniors — all of us, at every age, are living under the pressures and ravages of time. Together we’ll reflect on how our attitudes toward change, mortality, and the passing years shape the way we live now. We will be on Zoom, and the link is posted closer to the meeting time.
