Our Senior Services Networking Group meets monthly for lunch networking on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 11:45am-1pm. There are no requirements for attendance! Just show up and network with other contacts within the Senior Market.

There are over 100 million Baby Boomers and their parents. 76 million of them have or will soon reach retirement age, which means the senior population will more than double by 2030.

Adults aged 85 and above are the fastest-growing segment of the U.S. population.

Home health care is the fastest growing sector in the health care industry. Home health care spending will double from $50 billion per year to over $100 billion in the next ten years. One in every 20 people over 65 passes away each year. More than 2.5 million estates need to be settled every year. Over 43% of people will enter a nursing home during their lifetime. After a medical emergency or due to aging, more than 43% of people will face the decision of whether or not to enter into a nursing home or stay at home with some type of assistance.

Approximately 20% of seniors are using about 50 prescriptions every year! Over 61% of emergency room visits are by seniors, yet only 2% of these are nursing home patients. 81% of middle-aged couples over 55 years old own homes. Those in the top 10% of yearly income own homes that, on average, were built in the late 1970’s.
