Jeff Farr is a prominent business leader and cybersecurity expert with over three decades of experience in the IT industry. He is the Owner and CEO of Sera Brynn, a Virginia-based cybersecurity and compliance services firm that has been in operation for 15 years. The company offers a wide range of services, including Managed Cybersecurity, Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Penetration Testing, and serves as a Third-Party Assessor Organization (3PAO) for FedRAMP, FISMA, and GovRAMP, and is in process to become a CMMC Certified Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO).

Farr is an Expert in Residence for Robin Robins’ industry-leading Technology Marketing Toolkit, where he provides thought leadership to more than 5,000 MSP owners annually. He is a frequent speaker on topics such as Managed Services, Cybersecurity, Leadership, Effective Communication, General Business, Business Valuation, and M&A. He is particularly known for his insights on Managed Services and Managed Security, including industry trends, profitability strategies, pricing, M&A activity, and benchmarking.

In addition, Farr is a regular contributor to media outlets, with more than 300 television and radio appearances on FOX, NBC, and ABC, sharing expert commentary on technology and cybersecurity issues.
Prior to founding Sera Brynn, Farr served as President of Farr Group, a respected IT strategy consulting firm that supported major publicly traded companies. He was also CEO of two managed service providers, both turnaround efforts backed by private equity. In those roles, he delivered improved profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. He also served as CEO of a CMMC-focused consultancy.
Earlier in his career, Farr held key roles at EY, SAP, EDS, and Cap Gemini, where he built deep experience in operations, sales, and finance. He is widely recognized for his strong leadership and business acumen.

Outside of work, Jeff is married to Kay, is a proud father to Ashton, and enjoys time with their three dogs – Higgins, Fergie, and Finley. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, leadership development, and scaling high-performing businesses. He’s also an avid Dallas Stars fan.
