What we’re about
This meet up is for members that want to hone their sailing skills and build relationships with fellow skilled sailors. It is also designed for those who want to gain experience to progress from beginner to advanced sailors. We will meet to prepare for Bare boat excursions, personal boat upgrades, honing skills, and social sailing activities. Crew members will be sailing on a fixed keel single mast sail boat.
The sailing activities will be skippered but tasks will rotate to give all members time on task. Activities may include skill set drills as well as sunset cruises, full moon outings, swim calls and sailing to bar and grills on the lake.
This meet up is an opportunity for people to experience sailing with out the obligations of a slip lease, boat payments and maintenance. With most marinas now charging $200.00 or more for small slips and $300.00 or more for 35 foot slips it gives a entry level experience for those who would like to try sailing before the big commitment.
