Intro to TSQLT: Testing your T-SQL Code with Lance Tidwell

Abstract:
Do you wish to add testing to your SQL code? In this session will look at the open source testing framework TSQLT.
Using this framework will will go over the basics of creating/running tests. We go over some of the features in TSQLT (ie FakeTable, SpyProcedure, AssertEquals) . We will walk step-by-step and create a few basic tests.
We will also go over how you can us the open source test library SQLCop that contains several static analysis tests. These test can detect common issues across not just your SQL code but you db settings as well.
After this session you will be ready to download TSQLT and start writing your first test.
