What we’re about
I'm looking to make this a regular get together for both new hikers and experienced hikers alike. The main benefit of this group is that all hikes will be easily accessible by transit or by signing up for carpooling. This group makes it easy to meet new people, and we have lots of friendly, social conversations and chat on our hikes. Whether you're looking to join us for a specific event, or to be a reoccurring attendee to make new friends, this group is for you!
Maximum 3 No-Shows:
After 3 no-shows → removal from the group.
Only press attend if you know you can attend.
Event Difficulty Ratings: (Viewable in the Event Descriptions)
Easy: Elevation 0 to 400meters
Intermediate: Elevation 400 to 1000meters
Hard: Elevation 1000 to 2000meters

Organizer Recommendations:
*Each organizer runs their events differently, below is a general outline of what they do.
*For up to date information, including the difficulty of each event and what hiking equipment to bring, always check each Event Description.
*Our group tends to run larger event sizes which can be slow for some people, and includes waiting for slower hikers to catch up to us. Match the different organizer's event difficulty, group size, group speed, and leadership style to your experience level and temperament.

*Read the Event Description to see what you need to bring to each Event.
*Different Event Hosts can enforce different rules more strictly or not at all depending on what they feel comfortable with, and depending on the difficulty of the Event.
*Always bring up any safety concerns for you or others to the Event Host.
Finally, we look forward to seeing you on the trails, and at some of our optional after-events for food, coffee, drinks, and chat!
